I have half an hour free before I have to head out, and I can’t bring myself to read another sentence of William Faulkner’s 1936 novel ‘Absalom! Absalom!’ so I figured I’d write something of far less value on here. When I reviewed the new Say Anything record I found myself thinking (as I always do) about how it compared to other entries in the bands discography. That, paired with a post about The Strokes and their back-catalog I saw on Twitter this morning, has led to the post you’ll find below, in which I basically rank records from some of my favorite artists. I always sort of enjoy reading stuff like this, so it seemed about time that I post my own lists for critique on the internet. Call me out on them, or share your own, I’d be interested to see how the lists of others differ from my own, and if there’s a particular artist you’d like me to address then just let me know.
